WHAT EXAM SHOULD I TAKE?

This depends on what your future goals are. A lot of educational institutions require IELTS but the UK Border Agency currently only recognises Trinity GESE-SELTS exams. Please read about each exam to get a better understanding of what you need. I am always happy to provide you with any further advice.

HOW LONG WILL I NEED TO PREPARE FOR AN EXAM?

This is a question I am often asked. Unfortunately, it is impossible for me to predict until I have a thorough knowledge of your current level in all areas of the exam. After starting your learning journey, we can discuss this together and make a plan for when you should take your exam.

WHAT WILL I LEARN IN CLASS?

This will always depend on your individual needs and goals. However, it is likely to be a balanced combination of the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, as well as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and discourse.

CAN YOU HELP ME REGISTER FOR THE EXAM?

I would be very happy to help you with the registration process.

DO I NEED TO PAY A REGISTRATION FEE?

No, I do not ask new students to pay a registration fee.

I HAVE A CHANGING WORK SCHEDULE AND I MIGHT NEED TO CHANGE MY LESSON TIME EACH WEEK. IS THIS POSSIBLE?

This is not a problem and I am very happy to work to a flexible schedule, subject to availability.

WILL I NEED TO BUY A BOOK?

This depends on why you are learning. I will provide as much learning material as possible but will recommend any further materials you might need for self-study.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY CLASSES?

This can be done either by bank transfer or through paypal. I ask for you to kindly pay for 2 classes in advance.

WHAT IF I CAN'T ATTEND MY CLASS?

If you can’t attend a class, I will need 24 hours notice in order not to charge you for the lesson.
